Delete your Hovis™ account
Hovis™ is the AI assistant inside REI School. This page explains how to delete your Hovis™ account and exactly what happens to your data.
Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the fastest way and it takes effect immediately.
- Open Hovis™ and sign in
- Tap your profile picture, bottom left, to open Settings
- Scroll to Delete my account
- Confirm
Cannot sign in? Ask us to delete it
Email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you within 30 days. Put Delete my Hovis™ account in the subject line.

- Your saved conversations with Hovis™
- Your saved deals, including every number you entered
- Your saved strategies
- Your lesson progress
- What Hovis™ remembered about you
- Your display name and profile picture
- Your notification settings
- Any device you set up for Face ID or fingerprint
What happens to your access
Deleting your Hovis account signs you out and deletes your saved work. A paid membership stays on record with REI School, and your course access returns when you sign back in.
What is kept, and why
REI School keeps your purchase and billing records, because it is legally required to. Those records are held by REI School, not by Hovis™. If you bought through the app store you purchased from, that store also keeps its own record of the transaction.
